Let me get this straight: Because North Franklin Township Supervisor Martha Ward lost in the November election, Supervisors Ron Junko and Silvio Passalacqua have decided to create a new position for her, paying $20 per hour for 20 hours each week.

Further, the new position doesn’t have a job description, and Ward does not have to report to anyone.

We have a township secretary who went without a raise, and our police department still has no contract because our township doesn’t have the money. This is a total disregard of the people in this township.
