Marcia L. Graham, 55, of Washington, died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 17, 2018, as a result of complications from an ongoing pulmonary/cardiac condition.
She was born October 9, 1962, in Washington, a daughter of Donald Knox of Tulsa, Okla., and Wanda Morris Chicone of Washington. Mrs. Graham attended Washington High School and graduated from Avella High School in 1980.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and Sons and Daughters of Italy. Over the years, Mrs. Graham did accounting work at various companies including 84 Lumber, John S. Molinovich and Associates, Washington Financial Bank and ROC Service Company. She enjoyed spending time with her husband and friends at Union Grill, loved traveling and going to the beach and enjoyed hosting parties at her home, especially for the holidays.
Mrs. Graham loved her cats, especially her cat, “Kitty,” who recently passed away at the age of 19. She had recently adopted two new kittens, Asher and Ella, whom she adored. Most of all, Mrs. Graham loved spending time with her family. She was truly the heart of her family, and she will be dearly missed.
On September 9, 1983, she married Samuel R. “Sam” Graham of Washington, who survives. The couple had been together for 41 years. Also surviving is a daughter, Cassidy M. Graham of Washington; a brother, Kenneth Knox of Tulsa; four nieces, Melissa, Madison, Brooke and Bailey; six nephews, Robert, Jordan, Kenny, Max, Mason and Jeremy. Many friends and loved ones also survive.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Avenue, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A prayer service will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, January 22, in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Washington, with the Rev. William P. Feeney as celebrant. Entombment will follow in Washington Cemetery Four Seasons Mausoleum.
