LETTER The “stable genius” needs to deliver
President Trump assured the public a few weeks ago that he is a “stable genius.”
Accepting him at his word, it would be good for him to apply his extraordinary talents to gaining solutions to the issues of our day through Congress, of which his party holds majorities.
Certainly a man with these gifts could persuade others to arrive at practical solutions to such challenges as infrastructure, immigration and health care. To be sure, it is shocking that so little has been done on his watch other than tax legislation that will only increase the national debt and widen the gulf between the well-to-do and the not-so-well-to-do.
But we will keep the faith! Surely a man of his incredible talent will deliver sometime soon.
