Candidates to speak at Democrats meeting
Conor Lamb, the Democratic candidate for the 18th Congressional District Special Election will be speaking at Washington County Democrats meeting at 2 p.m. Saturday at Citizens Library, 55 S. College St., Washington.
Also addressing the group will be Clark Mitchell Jr., the nominated candidate for the May 15 Special Election for the state House 48th District, James Craig for state Senate 46th District, Rueben Brock and Byron Timmins for state House 46th District, Steve Toprani for state House 49th District, Alex Andres for state House 15th District, and Joe Zupancic for state House 48th District.
Lisa Longo, a senior training alumnus and fellow with Organizing for America, will explain what county and state Democratic committee members do and how to run for these positions in the May election.
