BEALLSVILLE
Assault alleged: Eric Ryan Huweart, 20, of 3026 Martindale Road, Scenery Hill, is charged by state police with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment, court records show. Police accuse him of striking Lindsay Jay Gillis several time in the face, causing several broken bones about 5 p.m. Wednesday at 3170 Martindale Road. District Judge Curtis Thompson signed a warrant for Huweart’s arrest.
CANONSBURG
Harassment alleged: Kevin McCree, 34, of Verona, was charged Thursday by Canonsburg police with harassment after he allegedly made lewd comments to a female co-worker at Papa John’s, 113 Cavasina Drive, on Jan. 2. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.
Wallet, cards stolen: Catalina Cencich of Smith Street told Canonsburg police Thursday that her wallet, credit cards and medication were stolen from her purse, which had been inside her vehicle.
Medication stolen: Carol Kostka of Giffin Avenue told Canonsburg police Thursday that her prescription medication was stolen from her home.
CANTON
Caseworker assaulted: Jordan Klobchar, 26, of 75 E. Maiden St., Washington, was charged Thursday by state police with simple assault and harassment for allegedly assaulting a caseworker Jan. 9 at Crisis Services, 852-B Henderson Ave., Canton. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.
CHARTIERS
Theft alleged: John Alexander Bowery, 37, of 310 Eighth St., Monongahela, was charged Thursday by Chartiers police with theft and receiving stolen property. He is accused of using the account of Ellis Asphalt, 580 Plum Run Road, to purchase tools, vehicle parts and a computer. Police said the charges, totaling almost $980, were made in November. The charges against Bowery were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.
Card used: Teah Lacks, 40, of 535 Fayette St., Washington, was charged Thursday by Chartiers police with theft and access device fraud. She is accused of using a township woman’s debit card without permission to make a $103 withdrawal from a Houston automated teller machine on Jan. 9. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.
SOUTH STRABANE
Driver injured: Robert Vanluvane, 76, of Pataskala, Ohio, was injured Thursday afternoon when his vehicle went off Interstate 70 eastbound near the Beau Street exit, South Strabane, and struck a barrier. He told police that his heart monitor started beeping, and he looked down at it in order to reset it. He was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment.
WASHINGTON
Wallet stolen: Nicholas Ilyankoff of 109 W. Walnut St. told Washington police Thursday that his wallet containing identification and food assistance cards were stolen from his home. He told police that he believes the wallet was stolen by a woman he invited to his apartment.
Windshield, window damaged: The owner of Pryor’s Auto, 2 Oregon St., told Washington police that the windshield and rear window on a customer’s van were damaged.
