Denzil Brent Ruse, 63, of Waynesburg, died at 7:45 a.m. Sunday, February 11, 2018, in his residence, of natural causes.
He was born Thursday, June 3, 1954, in Waynesburg, a son of the late Herman W. Ruse and Pauline Rose Ruse.
Mr. Ruse loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He worked as a laborer and truck driver for Headlee Sawmill in Rogersville. He also worked in construction with his friend, Bob Flannigan.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Kathy Cumberledge.
Also surviving are two daughters, Heather Riley and husband Bradley of Waynesburg and Amy Ruse and fiancé Mark Supler of Crucible; son Josh Ruse of Carmichaels; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Judy Landis of The Woodlands, Texas, Deborah Fairall of Conroe, Texas, Cathern Barnhart of Waynesburg and Pamela Cumberledge of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are sister Nancy Whetzel; and three brothers, Richard Ruse, Ronald Ruse and Kenneth Wesley Ruse Sr.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the time of services, Wednesday, February 14, in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, with Pastor Juanita Hanning officiating. Burial will be held in Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Township, Greene County.
