- The board entered into an intergovernmental cooperation agreement with East Bethlehem Township and the Bethlehem-Center School District as the newest participants in the county land bank.
The commissioners renewed a $4,000 contract with the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum to conduct tours this year of the Washington County Courthouse.
A deputy sheriff will be assigned full time to the Domestic Relations section of Washington County Court through Sept. 30, 2020, or as long as the assignment is federally funded.
Coroner Tim Warco received permission to add a post-mortem blood test for carbon monoxide exposure, costing $77, to the agreement with NMS Labs. He will also be sending his solicitor to training at the “Forensic Fridays” education course at Duquesne University and an annual symposium at a total cost of $425. The fee schedule for unclaimed bodies will be $225 for scene investigation, $350 for removal and transport, $20 per day for storage and $35 for administrative fees.
On behalf of the Tax Revenue Department, the commissioners approved an addition to an agreement with Pictometry International Corp. of Henrietta, N.Y., for digitally referenced oblique aerial imagery at no cost for the first year and $700 per year thereafter.
