Donna L. Zimmerman
Donna L. Zimmerman, 75, of Hickory, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018, in Southwest Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, Canonsburg.
She was born June 14, 1942, a daughter of Glenn and Ruth Cox Clarke.
Ms. Zimmerman was a 1960 graduate of Fort Cherry High School. She graduated from California University of Pennsylvania in 1964 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.
She taught at Clark School in Washington School District.
Ms. Zimmerman was a member of Hickory United Evangelical Presbyterian Church, where she served as deacon.
She enjoyed swimming, shopping and traveling.
Surviving are a daughter, Lori Zimmerman Chase (Brad) of Dallas, Texas; her former husband, Larry Zimmerman; and several cousins and nieces.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, is a sister, Marilyn Clarke Maskarnic.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of a memorial service, Monday, February 26, in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, PA 15342, with Lay Pastor Louis Templeton officiating.
In lieu of flowers, it was Ms. Zimmerman’s wish memorial contributions be made to Hickory United Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 210 Main Street, Hickory, PA 15340.
