Parents and guardians of children starting kindergarten in the Washington School District this fall can register their children from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 9, at Citizen’s Library, Washington.

Parents should be prepared to spend about an hour in registration, including forms and developmental testing of each child being registered. Potential kindergarten students must come to registration to be tested.

To register, parents must bring the child to be tested; the child’s birth certificate showing that the child will be age 5 before June 1, 2018; three proofs of residency, such as a driver’s license, lease, utility bill or letter addressed to their home address; current and up-to-date immunization records for the child; any custody papers from court, if applicable.

Call the primary main office with questions at 724-223-5150.
