Mary Evelyn Vanderhoof Patterson, 75, of Moundsville, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018, in Peterson Rehabilitation Hospital, Wheeling, W.Va.
She was born November 8, 1942, in Claysville, a daughter of the late Earl and Mae Trussel Vanderhoff.
Mrs. Patterson was Protestant.
She was retired from Northern Correctional Facility as a laundry supervisor.
Deceased are three brothers, Ray, Gene and Earl; two sisters, Doris Manfredi and Dorothy Vanderhoof; daughter Michelle “Bailey” Patterson Kennedy; and a son, Dale Patterson.
Surviving are her husband, Ray Patterson; two daughters, Tammy (Kevin) Lilly of Sutton, W.Va., and Coralie (Kevin) Mounts of Claysville; two sons, Douglas (Sonya) Patterson of Prosperity and Scott (Tammy) Patterson of Glenville, W.Va.; daughter-in-law Carrie Patterson; three brothers, John (Diane) Vanderhoof of Virginia and Carl (Judy) and Paul (Carol) Vanderhoof, both of Claysville; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
