Road repair projects to start in Washington County

Road improvement projects across Washington County that began last year will be starting again after being shut down for winter. 

Crews will be starting on the list projects and complete them between April 2 and June 15.

Traffic will be controlled with flaggers between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Work may include milling, base repair and placing an asphalt overlay. The locations include: 

• Route 88 (Front Street) in East Bethlehem Township and Centerville  between Black Dog Hollow Road and the Mon-Fayette Expressway.

• Route 481 (Park Avenue) in Monongahela between Wall Street and Main Street.

• Georgetown Road/Valley Brook Road/Bebout Road in Peters Township between Mayview Road and Venetia Road.

• Ridge Avenue/North Central Avenue in Canonsburg and Chartiers Township between Pike Street and Chartiers Run Road.

• Johnson Road in North Strabane and Chartiers townships between Pike Street and Racetrack Road.

• North Branch Road in McDonald township between Robinson Highway and Branch Road.

• Waterdam Road in North Strabane Township between Linden Road and Route 19 (Washington Road).
