Robert E. Martin, 66, of Gainesville, Ga., formerly of Finleyville, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 27, 2018.
He was born January 3, 1952, in New Eagle, a son of the late Jack and Elizabeth Stout Martin.
Mr. Martin was a 1969 graduate of Monongahela High School.
After graduation, he worked in the construction industry. In the 1980s, he moved to Georgia, where he mainly worked in sales for various construction companies.
He was a member of Georgia Wildlife Shooting Range. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and playing guitar.
Mr. Martin will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are a brother, William Martin and wife Michele of Finleyville, and two nephews, Ross Martin and wife Cara of Plum and Samuel Martin of Pittsburgh.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a brother, Jack Martin.
Mr. Martin will be laid to rest in the family plot in Finleyville Cemetery.
