Mark Evan Bell

Mark Evan Bell, 55, of New Cumberland, W.Va., died Thursday, March 15, 2018 in his home.

He was born September 24, 1962 in Washington, a son of Sue Paul Bernotas and Thomas P. Bell, both of Washington. His step-father, John Bernotas, also survives.

He worked as a butcher in addition to running his own deer processing and lawn care business.

Mr. Bell served in the U.S. Army Reserve as a cook.

On November 2, 1987, he married Terri Vecchi, who died July 9, 2014.

Surviving in addition to his parents are a son, Evan Thomas (Ashley) Bell of Weirton; a daughter, Corianne (Brandon) Bell of Weirton; a brother, Mitchell Bell of McMurray; two sisters, Chere Boram of Bridgeport, W.Va., and Laura Porto of Washington; two granddaughters, Macie Lafferty and Geneva Bell; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2018 in Hummell & Jones Funeral Home, with Pastor Brian Richardson officiating. Thomas W. Hummell, supervisor, Douglas M. Jones, director, 420 Locust Ave., Washington.
