Hannah F. Wortman

Hannah F. Wortman, 77, of Millsboro, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018, in her home.

She was born April 12, 1940, in East Millsboro, a daughter of the late Frank and Eva Vance Lancaster.

A homemaker, Mrs. Wortman enjoyed collecting cook books, word search puzzles and recipe books. The main focus of her life was her family.

On March 1, 1958, she married Warren E. Wortman, who passed away January 26, 2017.

Surviving are three children, Gary Wortman of Fredericktown, Sandy Fowler (Jerry) of West Brownsville and Del Wortman (Loretta) of Fredericktown; five grandchildren, Sydney Hovanec, Gina Stogran, Jayme Rossi, Christy Bruce and Summer Wortman; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Della Beaty of Denbo and Beverly Rockwell of Youngstown, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Sondra Lancaster of Vestaburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are a brother, Tom Lancaster, and a sister, Ginny Mae Marshall.

Friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday in Greenlee Funeral Home, 42 Bank Street, Fredericktown, where services will be held at noon Friday, March 23, with Pastor George Rockwell officiating. Interment will follow in Buckingham Cemetery.
