Jose Osuna hit his fifth home run of the spring, during Pittsburgh’s four-run third inning, as the Pirates defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 7-4 Sunday in Dunedin, Fla.

Francisco Cervelli also homered for the Pirates, who built an early 5-1 lead.

Pittsburgh starter Joe Musgrove gave up one run, a solo homer by Steve Pearce, over five innings.

Toronto’s Marco Estrada gave up five runs in only 2 2/3 innings in his final start of spring training.

The Pirates trimmed their roster to 32 players by placing outfielder Bryce Brentz on waivers. Brent was 10-for-40 with a home run this spring.

Pittsburgh takes on Philadelphia at 1:05 p.m. today.
