Frances L. Durham, 84, of Washington, died Wednesday, February 28, 2018, in UPMC-Montefiore hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born August 13, 1933, in Marianna, a daughter of the late Charles V. and Lilly Charles Gray.
Mrs. Durham had a master of education degree from California University of Pennsylvania.
She was a schoolteacher who started teaching in Bethlehem-Center School District and then taught in Seaford, Del., School District.
She was Methodist.
On August 21, 1971, she married Owen D. Durham Sr., who survives.
Also surviving are four children, Lorraine G. (Edward) Yanov of Washington, Debra L. (Terry) Hill of Fort Myers, Fla., Frank G. (Diane) Stevenson of Semora, N.C., and Fran (Denny) Russell of Seaford; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Clutter of Salisbury, N.C.
Deceased are a son, James W. Stevenson; a stepson, Owen D. Durham Jr.; and two sisters, Eleanor Lawrence and Roberta Santee.
Private services will be held in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
