Michael Gerald Serrino, 38, of Lawrence, formerly of North Strabane Township, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018, surrounded by his family, loved ones and faithful canine companion, Minnie.
On June 13, 2015, Michael married his best friend, Amanda Wasnik Serrino.
He was the beloved son of Gerald “Jerry” and the late Barbara Jakoski Serrino; loving brother of Scott Serrino, Traci Wargo, Suzy (Michael) Kairush and Mary Jo Serrino; a treasured uncle of Christopher (April) Wargo, Ryan Serrino and Daniel Kramer; proud great-uncle of Eli Hunter, Henry Baber and Kate Baber; and caring son-in-law of Nancy Wasnik.
Michael graduated from Canon-McMillan High School in 1998 and University of Pittsburgh in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
He was employed as a network administrator for over 15 years at Champion International Moving in Canonsburg.
Michael enjoyed cooking, camping, boating and Pittsburgh football games. Most of all, he enjoyed doing all the things he loved surrounded by his family.
Family meant the world to Michael. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral arrangements by Beinhauers. Friends and Family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, 724-941-3211. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 14, in St. Benedict the Abbot Church, McMurray.
Entombment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township.
