Students release debuts
Two teens at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School from Washington and Beaver Counties recently released their debut albums on various music platforms.
Joel Dudzik, a senior media major from Washington, released his first album, “The J Hole,” which he wrote and produced in his home studio.
His album includes 14 songs that have a broad house music feel to them.
“A lot of the songs on there are actually really old, like up to a year old,” said Dudzik. “Not every song you’re going to make is going to be awesome, but every now and then there’s a good one that comes out.”
A song Dudzik recommends to listeners is “The Gorillas Gotta Run,” driven by a distorted, catchy synthesizer riff.
Halle Martin, a sophomore music major from Chippewa, just released, “The Real Winner,” which includes seven songs written by Martin.
The albums can be purchased and downloaded on any popular music streaming app, such as Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music and Google Play.
Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School is a public charter school located in Midland.
