Alfred L. Wiltrout
Alfred L. Wiltrout, 83, of Bentleyville, died Thursday, April 26, 2018, in the care of Bethany Hospice.
He was born April 13, 1935, in Bullskin Township, a son of the late Allen Cooper and Lucy Barnhart Wiltrout.
Mr. Wiltrout was a Korean War Veteran, serving with the U.S. Marine Corps.
He worked as a coal miner with Mine 60 and retired after many dedicated years of service.
Mr. Wiltrout enjoyed hunting and fishing, NASCAR Racing and The Meadows Casino.
He was the beloved husband of the late Helen Krencik Wiltrout.
Surviving are two sons, Allen (Aggie) Wiltrout and Alfred Wiltrout Jr.; two daughters, Rita (Albert) Conner and Lisa (Mike) Plumley; two sisters, Caroline Johnson and Sandy Kelley; brother Clarence “Fizz” Wiltrout; and his special friend, Dolly McCrea. He was a grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of 11.
Deceased, in addition to his wife, are brother Allen “Gene” Wiltrout and sister Cora Byrnes.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 5, in Emmanuel United Presbyterian Church, Eighty Four, with a fellowship following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are entrusted to All Counties Cremation Services.
