Helen Irene Six, 80, of Franklin Township, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018, in Braun’s Personal Care Home, Waynesburg.
She was born May 2, 1937, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Edward and Desta Nuyum Six.
Helen was a 1957 graduate of Waynesburg High School. She was a housekeeper for Greene County Memorial Hospital for 48 years, until retiring in 2006.
Helen enjoyed collecting Amish cookbooks, literature, reading the newspaper and listening to the radio.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, is a sister, Beulah Six Cumberledge.
Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m., the time of service, Tuesday, May 1, in Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home LLC, 3275 West Roy Furman Highway, Rogersville, PA 15359, 724-499-5181, with Pastor Cynthia Deter officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Gilmore Township.
