Jefferson United Methodist Church will hold a baked steak dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday in Jefferson Community Center. The menu will include baked steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, country-style green beans, candied carrots, applesauce, rolls, desserts and beverages. The costs is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger. Take-out orders are available.

Jefferson United Methodist Church will sponsor a performance by Dan Schall at 7 p.m. April 21 at Jefferson Community Center. Through music and testimony, Schall of Zelienople conveys his love for Jesus Christ and his concern for his fellow man. His music can be heard on his website at www.DanSchall.org.

The Waynesburg Moose will sponsor a basket bingo Saturday to raise money for the Central Greene Relay for Life Team. The event will be held at the Moose. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. and bingo start at 1 p.m. The event costs $20 a person, and 15 gift baskets will be the prizes. Women of the Moose will sell daubers, food and refreshments. Greene County Veterans Affairs will hold a veterans’ outreach at 10 a.m. April 30 in Lions Club Community Center, Clarksville. Veterans can make an appointment or stop by to learn about services, including pension, compensation, disability, health care, life insurance, funeral and burial claims and retroactive benefits, said Dalene Watson, office director.
