Washington Street United Methodist Church, Waynesburg, will hold a rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 2 and 3. Lunch will be available for purchase from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. both days. For more information, call 724-627-3240. Local delivery is available.

Aleppo Township will hold cleanup days from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 3 and 4. Items that will not be accepted are wood, paint, tires, household garbage and electronics.

Morris Township (Greene County) Volunteer Fire Department will hold a barbecue chicken dinner from noon to 6 p.m. May 5 at the Morris Township Community Center. Cost for a whole dinner is $8 and $5.50 for a half dinner. There also will be a raffle and all proceeds benefit the Morris Township Volunteer Fire Department.

Rolling Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation, 107 Curry Road, Waynesburg, will sponsor a free educational event about hospice care May 9. The program will be presented by Washington Health Systems Hospice. A residents and family session will be held at 2 p.m. and the public session will begin at 6 p.m. Light refreshments and a snack will be provided. Limited seating is available and it is recommended to call 724-627-3153 to reserve a spot.

The 154th Annual Spring Ten Mile Association meeting will be held Sunday at the First Baptist Church, Waynesburg. The meeting will take a different format this year. In addition to the annual business meeting, Pastor Cathie Carpenter from WWJD church in Waynesburg will be recognized. She was nominated and won the National Evangelism Award ABC USA. The Rev. Frank Frischkorn, regional executive minister, will be the speaker, the Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Johnson, regional minister for evangelism, will present the award. Special guests will include Dr. Richard and the Rev. Carol Visser. Registration will begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by the business meeting at 5 p.m., a covered-dish dinner at 5:30 p.m. and the award presentation to Carpenter at 6:15 p.m.
