Robert B. Brownlee, 71, of Oswego, N.Y., and formerly of Claysville, died unexpectedly Sunday, April 7, 2013, in his home.
He was born October 29, 1941, in Washington, a son of Opal Whiteman Brownlee of Claysville and the late Kenneth Blair Brownlee. He had resided in Rochester, N.Y., for several years prior to moving to Oswego.
Mr. Brownlee was a 1960 graduate of the former Claysville High School and a 1962 graduate of the former Western Pennsylvania Institute of Technology in Pittsburgh, with a certification in drafting and design.
He was a peacetime veteran with U.S. Air Force Reserve in Pittsburgh.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a sister, Carol L. Brownlee, and a brother, Thomas, husband of Sandra Brownlee, both of Claysville.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
