Alex Jon Gentile Jr.
Alex Jon Gentile Jr., 48, formerly of Peters Township, currently of Sewickley, passed peacefully Sunday, March 31, 2013, in his home with his loving family, following a brief illness.
In addition to his mother Kathryne, father Alex Sr. and brother Aaron Judd (42), surviving are son Jeffery Allen (28), daughter Jennifer Ashley (22), son Justin Andrew (19) and grandson (son of Jeffery) Colton John (2).
Beyond his immediate family, he brought joy to all whose path he crossed, especially aunts, uncles, cousins, second cousins, friends, co-workers, neighbors and fellow board members at his homeowners association.
He spent his adult life in the transportation field.
An excellent athlete at Peters Township High School and a scholarship athlete in college, he retained his interest in sports, coaching peewee hockey and soccer.
He was an avid sports fan his entire life, but his greatest joy came from being a special father to his children, a loyal brother and loving son to his parents.
