Jaylin Kelly homered and doubled to lead Washington to a 9-5 win over Charleroi in a Section 2-AA baseball game.
Jonathan Spina picked up the win for the Prexies (6-0, 7-1).
Losing pitcher Matt Carcella and Gunner Riley both doubled for Charleroi (0-6, 1-9).
• Justin Foreman entered the game with one out in the bottom of the first and pitched six scoreless innings as South Fayette topped Waynesburg, 15-4, in a Section 3-AAA game.
Foreman and Aaron Fonner doubled for the Lions (2-2, 5-4).
Colton Lippencott, losing pitcher Aaron Hill and Wes Bristor doubled for Waynesburg (1-3, 1-6).
• Nathan Cooper went 3-for-4 and drove in two runs to lead Burgettstown to an 8-3 victory over Beth-Center in a Section 2-AA game.
Kurt Kowalski doubled and Drake Hoberek tripled for Burgettstown (2-4, 3-4). Losing pitcher Josh Miller tripled for Beth-Center (1-6, 1-7).
