Paul Thomas Keys

Paul Thomas Keys, 80, of Carmichaels, formerly of Grafton, W.Va., died peacefully in his home surrounded by his family.

Mr. Keys was born April 1, 1938, in Deemston, a son of the late Otto E. and Cecelia Bodish Keys.

On April 15, 1961, Tom married Rose Janet Darney, who survives.

Also surviving are two children, Jeffrey T. Keys (Sheila) of Chester, Va., and Sharon K. Peters (Ronnie Gobel) of Grafton; three beloved grandchildren, Lauren Trent (Mike), Tyler J. Keys and Thomas W. Peters; and two sisters, Patricia Clair and Ella Mae Davey, both of Fredericktown.

In addition to his parents, deceased are brother David Keys and two brothers-in-law, John Clair and Neil Davey.

Tom served his country in the U.S. Army in Okinawa, Japan, during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Keys retired as chief executive officer of First Community Bank of Grafton.

He was a member of Masonic Lodge 237 in Beallsville, Lodge of Perfection of Uniontown, Pittsburgh Consistory Lodge and Shriners of Wheeling, W.Va., and Veterans of Foreign Wars of Fredericktown.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 21, in Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320, 724-966-5100. Carmichaels American Legion Post 400 will provide military rites at 4 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral service with Rev. Rebecca Dittenhafer officiating.

A memorial service will be conducted by Masonic Lodge 237, Beallsville, at 3:15 p.m. Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church of Carmichaels or Amedisys Hospice of Masontown.
