Todd Frazier drove in a pair of runs with a sacrifice fly and a single, and the Cincinnati Reds used another big inning to beat the Chicago Cubs 5-2 Saturday for their fifth straight victory.

The Reds have won 13 of their last 16 games, surging to a season-high 13 games over .500 at 31-18. It’s their best start since 1995.

Cincinnati scored four times in the sixth off left-hander Travis Wood (4-3), extending its domination of the NL Central’s last-place team. Chicago has lost a season-high six consecutive games.

Homer Bailey (3-3) gave up two runs in six innings to a lineup that rarely has a big inning.

The Reds have dominated the Cubs lately, winning 16 of their last 18 games in the series.

San Francisco 6, Colorado 5: Angel Pagan hit an inside-the-park homer with a runner aboard in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the San Francisco Giants a 6-5 victory over the Colorado Rockies. Troy Tulowitzki led off the 10th with his 10th home run to put the Rockies ahead 5-4.

Atlanta 7, N.Y. Mets 5: An overnight wait was worth it for the Atlanta Braves. Dan Uggla hit an RBI single in the 10th inning soon after a suspended game resumed, and the Braves beat the New York Mets 7-5 for their seventh straight win. Friday night’s game was halted because of rain after eight innings with the score 5-all. It took 42 minutes to complete it. The game picked up right where it left off, at the start of the ninth inning. The game scheduled for Saturday night began 20 minutes late.

N.Y. 4, Tampa Bay 3: Lyle Overbay homered with two outs in the 11th inning, and the New York Yankees rallied late to beat the Tampa Bay Rays 4-3. Overbay drilled a 1-0 pitch from Josh Lueke (0-2) into the right field seats to give New York the lead.

Minnesota 3, Detroit 2: Joe Mauer homered and had three hits, helping the Minnesota Twins snap a 10-game losing streak with a 3-2 victory over the Detroit Tigers.

Boston 7, Cleveland 4: Pinch-hitter Mike Carp drove in the tying run with an eighth-inning double and then scored on a double by Dustin Pedroia as the Boston Red Sox rallied for a 7-4 victory over the Cleveland Indians.

L.A. Angels 7, Kansas City 0: Josh Hamilton and Hank Conger homered to back Billy Buckner’s first major league win since 2009, and the Los Angeles Angels beat the Kansas City Royals 7-0 for their seventh straight victory.
