Two people were taken to area hospitals following an ATV crash in West Bethlehem Township Saturday afternoon.

The crash happened about 5 p.m. when an ATV drove into a guard rail near the 800 block of Lone Pine Road. One male patient was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital. The second male patient, who was seen walking at the scene of the accident with a neck brace on, was taken by ambulance to a Pittsburgh hospital.

Lone Pine Road was closed for several hours Saturday afternoon.

Ambulance and Chair, Canonsburg EMS and Marianna and West Bethlehem fire departments responded to the scene.

State police are investigation the incident.
