Oros – 90 years
Elaine Oros of Carmichaels celebrated her 90th birthday with a family dinner in her honor.
She was born on July 22, 1928, in Ronco.
Her husband is the late Frank Oros, with whom she celebrated 55 years of marriage before his death.
Her children are Frank (Raelene) Oros of Carmichaels, Bruce (Linda) Oros of Washington and Lou Ann (Mark) Vavreck of Morgantown, W.Va.
She has four grandchildren, Mark Vavreck, Ranelle Hartley, and Natalie and Carlie Oros, along with two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Oros spent most of her life as a homemaker, taking care of her family and baking for others.
In addition to a dinner, she received more than 90 birthday cards from a surprise card shower. She also received a certificate of recognition from state Rep. Pam Snyder to honor her commitment, work and time to politics.
