DUNKARD

Insurance fraud charge: Jessee Lee Moats, 24, and Jenna Anne Obrad, 24, both of 8 Dunkard Terrace, Dilliner, were each charged Thursday with insurance fraud and false reports to law enforcement after they claimed their vehicle was stolen May 5 while it was parked at their Dunkard Township home, according to court documents. Pennsylvania State Police said Moats had crashed the vehicle earlier in the day on Interstate 68 in West Virginia.

FRANKLIN

Tool box stolen: A silver, diamond-plated took box and its contents were stolen from a Cameron International work truck while it was parked at 249 E. Roy Furman Highway in Franklin Township for service between June 28 and July 23, state police said.

Fencing stolen: State police said someone stole fencing from a property at 405 E. Oakview Drive in Franklin Township between Wednesday afternoon and Saturday night.

JEFFERSON

Failure to register: Marcie Lynn Burroughs, 49, of 1447 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, was charged with failure to comply with registration for sex offenders after state police said she did not update her Megan’s Law registration between July 29 and Aug. 7.

PERRY

Theft charge: Greene Regional police charged David Glenn Tennant, 55, of Maidsville, W.Va., with felony theft after investigators said he wrote four checks from the Mt. Morris Sportsmen Club in Perry Township where he was treasurer to pay for personal expenses totaling nearly $9,400 in July.

WAYNESBURG

Drug paraphernalia charge: Alicia Dawn McGraw, 41, of 236 E. Lincoln St., Waynesburg, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after Waynesburg police said a probation officer found her with a digital scale that had methamphetamine residue on it, various smoking pipes, a device used to crush pills and one Fentanyl pill in her apartment Aug. 2.

Drug charge: Louis Hunyady, 19, of 150 Donald St., Rices Landing, was charged Thursday with felony drug possession, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after Waynesburg police said they stopped a car he was riding in July 25 and allegedly found him with 63 grams of marijuana.
