Darlene E. Heiney
Darlene E. Heiney, 73, of Amity, formerly of Follensbee, W.Va., passed away peacefully in her sleep Friday, August 3, 2018.
Born January 17, 1945, in Steubenville, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Carolina Orth.
She was the beloved wife of 52 years to J.R. Heiney; loving mother of Bryan (Christa) Heiney and Marc (Cathy) Heiney; cherished grandmother of Jessica and Melinda (Robert); and great-grandmother of Kira.
Darlene was a retired nurse who worked in the Washington area for more than 50 years.
Darlene loved animals and enjoyed traveling and country dancing. She also liked cooking.
At the family’s request, all services will be private. Inurnment will be in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
