Anthony Frank Yaquinto

Anthony Frank “Tony” Yaquinto, 66, of Brandon, Fla., formerly of Washington, died Thursday, August 16, 2018, in Riverview, Fla., following a brief illness.

He was born July 9, 1952, in Washington, a son of the late Dorothy Morgan Yaquinto and Sam Yaquinto.

Mr. Yaquinto was a 1970 graduate of Trinity High School. He received his bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University in 1974 and a master’s degree from Golden Gate University in 1990.

He served in the U.S. Air Force for 19 years before retiring. He had a passion for deer hunting and playing softball with those who served in the military with him.

He is survived by his sons, Michael Anthony and Matthew Vincent; daughter Tasha Lawhon; and stepsister Carolyn Sprowls.

Friends and family may pay their respects at a memorial service at 10 a.m. Friday, September 27, in MacDill Air Force Base Chapel, 2204 Administration Avenue, Tampa, FL 33621.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Tony’s name to hospice.
