Two area high school track teams advanced to the WPIAL Team Tournament finals.

Washington boys in Class AA and South Fayette girls in Class AA won semifinals meets and will compete at Baldwin High School at 4 p.m., Thursday, May 9 for the championship.

Washington routed Mohawk, 115-35, Beaver, 104-46, and South Side Beaver, 124-26.

South Fayette defeated Shenango, 102-48, New Brighton, 107-43, and Riverview, 134-16.
