AMWELL

Register stolen: A cash register was reported stolen from Lone Pine 1 Stop gasoline station about 11:30 p.m. Friday. State police described the suspect as a white male wearing a gray ball cap, a black hoodie, black shorts with white stripes on the sides, and green Nike tennis shoes with white tongues.

MORRIS

Copper theft: State police reported two males entered the premises of Pole Set Inc. on Prosperity Pike about 10:30 p.m. Aug. 30, stole a reel of copper wire and fled south on Route 18.

SOUTH STRABANE

Crash injury: Amanda R. Stroup, 31, of Brownsville, was transported to Washington Hospital following a two-vehicle crash Thursday on Interstate 70, state police reported. They said Stroup was driving in the left westbound lane near mile marker 22 about 9 a.m. when a vehicle operated by Hector S. Burchell, 54, of Ohio, which was transporting a trailer, moved over from the right lane, and the trailer struck her vehicle’s front passenger side bumper. The driver’s side of Stroup’s vehicle, police said, ended up striking a concrete barrier separating the eastbound and westbound traffic. The extent of her injuries was unknown.

WASHINGTON

Fight alleged: State police reported two Washington women – Angel Marie Cox, 30, and Jamie Lynn Willhott, 23 – got into an argument then a physical fight about 8 p.m. Thursday at 83 Monarch St. Police said the women will be charged with harassment.
