Doris V. Earle Fox
Doris V. Earle Fox, 93, of Chippewa Township, Beaver Falls, died Tuesday, September 11, 2018, in McMurray, where she resided for the past six years.
Born August 20, 1925, in Beaver Falls, she was a daughter of the late DeWilton and Emily Hays Earle.
She was a lifelong member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Beaver Falls. Doris had been active in its quilting group, “Cover Girls,” for many years.
She was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School, Class of 1943, where she had been the drum majorette in the marching band.
Doris was a member of a monthly card club with her former co-workers from Bell Telephone, where she had been employed as an operator. She also loved reading, traveling and especially family events.
In addition to her parents, deceased are her husband, Frank E. Fox in 2013, and a brother, William R. Earle in 1929.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carole (Joel) Beltz of McMurray; her son and daughter-in-law, James D. (Beth) Fox of Torrance, Calif.; four grandchildren, Derek Beltz, Julie Beltz, Lindsey Beltz King (Brian) and Matthew Fox; and two great-grandsons, Baylor and Dash King.
There was a private funeral service held for her family with the Rev. Kim Rapczak officiating. Interment was in Beaver Falls Cemetery, Chippewa Township.
