James Armstrong, 54, of McDonald, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018, following a courageous battle with cancer.

He loved his Alabama Crimson Tide and the New York Yankees until the end.

He was born October 6, 1964, a son of the late William and Judith Armstrong.

Surviving are his four siblings, Rhonda (Kurt) Frasnelly of St. Clairsville, Ohio, with whom he resided in his final weeks, David (Gena) Armstrong of Morgantown, W.Va., Michael (Carrie) Armstrong of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Traci Armstrong of Terril, Iowa; seven nephews; four nieces; a great-niece; and two great-nephews.

He will also be sadly missed by one little dog named Murph, who became his best buddy.

At his request, there will be no public service. Arrangements are by Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville.
