Donald Michael Kobaly

Donald Michael Kobaly, 85, of Washington, formerly of Brownsville, died Thursday, October 18, 2018, in his home.

He was born January 20, 1933, in Brownsville, a son of the late Michael and Margaret Day Kobaly.

Mr. Kobaly was a 1950 graduate of Brownsville High School. He went on to work as a machinist, working for a number of businesses – most notably Washington Tool and Machine Co., where he was a foreman.

In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, antiques and, most of all, antique cars. He was a member of Washington Cruisers Car Club.

On October 14, 1981, in Washington, he married his wife, Marjean Wenger, who survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Russell (Carol) Kobaly of Sewickley, Joe Wenger of Longview, Texas, and Jimmy Wenger of New Kensington; a sister, Jewel Myers of Cleveland, Ohio; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Carol Kobaly.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, are a son, Donald Michael Kobaly Jr.; a daughter, Robin Sue Flowers; and a brother, Charles Kobaly.

Friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Hummell and Jones Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 22, with the Rev. Brenda Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
