Belle Vernon rolls past Ringgold, 55-0

MONONGAHELA — Belle Vernon prepared for the Class 4A playoffs by blanking Ringgold 55-0 in a Big Eight Conference game at Joe Montana Stadium Friday night.

The Leopards (6-1, 8-1), who are assured of a first-round home playoff game, scored 20 points in each of the first two quarters.

Ryan Hamer was the only player with more than one touchdown. he scored on runs of 12 yards in the second quarter and 15 yards in the third quarter. Hamer rushed for a game-high 94 yards on 16 carries.

Andrew Pacak, Anthony Bertram, Larry Calloway, Mason Pascoe and Gage Rogge all had first-half TDs for the leopards and Tyler Kovatch returned a punt 42 yards for a score in the fourth quarter.
