The Greentree real estate company that built and sold the Fountainhead building in Southpointe owns it again.

Burns Scalo Real Estate said on its Facebook page it has “officially closed on the Fountainhead for the SECOND time in history. … We are proud to buy back the beautiful Fountainhead at the front door of Southpointe.”

The company said it paid $18 million at the closing, which occurred Oct. 9. The Fountainhead is fully leased and is home to tenants that include Crown Castle and NVR.

Burns Scalo completed the Fountainhead in 2002. The firm eventually sold the building, but continued to manage it. Now it is the owner again.
