Sharon L. Beerman D’Eletto

Sharon L. Beerman D’Eletto, 66, of Sycamore, died at 2:35 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2018, in Mt. Macrina Manor, Uniontown.

She was born Saturday, June 14, 1952, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Fred “Gus” Werner and Lillian Werner.

Mrs. D’Eletto was a professional horseback rider. She was a breeder and trainer of Doberman Pinscher dogs and enjoyed showing them. She was active in all animal organizations for the care and humane treatment of all animals.

She worked most of her adult life in federal corrections, retiring from SCI-Greene in 2009 as assistant to the warden.

Her husband, John Joseph D’Eletto, whom she married in February 1999, died September 23, 2016.

Surviving are a stepdaughter, Autumn C. (Tammy) D’Eletto of Carmichaels; a stepson, William K. “Bill” D’Eletto of Waynesburg; six stepgrandchildren, Zachary Eisiminger, Jason Andrew D’Eletto, Dustin Colebank, Christina Colebank, Caileigh Colebank and Taylor Thompson; and several cousins.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 3, with Father Albin McGinnis officiating. Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery, Wayne Township, Greene County.
