James Joseph Typovsky

James Joseph Typovsky, 81, of Daisytown, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018, in Dunlevy Gardens Personal Care Home.
He was born July 2, 1937, in Daisytown, a son of the late Russell and Anna Huba Typovsky.
Mr. Typovsky was a 1957 graduate of California High School and he honorably served with the U.S. Army for two years.
In 2000, after 36 years of service, he retired from the former Fox Grocery, Wetteral and Super Value, where he worked as a truck driver.
He was a member of Teamsters Local 872, Charleroi, Bentleyville Knights of Columbus Counsel 5826, Bentleyville American Legion Post 165, Polish Club and the Independent Club, both in Bentleyville, and Richeyville Miners Club. He was a lifelong member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Richeyville campus.
He enjoyed bowling with the Fayette traveling league, hunting and golfing.
On October 12, 1968, he married Rosemary Childs Typovsky, who died October 22, 2012.
Surviving are three daughters, Kelly Jo Typovsky of Daisytown, Jamie Elizabeth Typovsky of Lovettsville, Va., and Bridget Michelle Typovsky of Gahanna, Ohio; a son, James Michael Typovsky II (Rhonda) of Brownsville; two granddaughters, Akaylia Rose Typovsky and Taryn Jo Typovsky; two sisters, Maryann Hornick (Robert) and Patty Husarchik (Emil), both of Daisytown; a brother, Russell Typovsky of Daisytown; and several nieces and nephews.
All funeral services will be private and under the direction of John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main St., Beallsville.
