Greene County commissioners approved a contract Thursday with EADS Group to do the design work on the windows and roofing replacement for Greene County Courthouse.

Chief Clerk Jeff Marshall said the county will pay $18,200 for the design work to replace the flat roof on the addition of the courthouse, which is more than 20 years old and leaking. He said more than 20 windows in the main courthouse also need to be replaced because of their age and leaks.

During the construction phase of the project, EADS will also provide inspection services for the county for $9,000.
