Robert A. Buck
Robert A. “Bob” Buck, 84, of McMurray, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018.
He was born March 27, 1934, a son of the late Sarah and Aloyisus Buck.
He was the beloved husband of Jackie Buck for 57 years; loving father of William (Shana) Buck of Weirton, W.Va., Sarah Ann Michel of Stafford, Va., Joseph (Marilyn) Buck of Allison Park and Thomas (Terri) Buck of Wheeling, W.Va.; cherished grandfather of 14 grandkids; and loving brother of Thomas Buck.
Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Buck.
Bob proudly served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force and was an accomplished electrical engineer. He was also an active member of St. Benedict the Abbot Church, Studebaker Driver’s Club and the Peters Township cable board. Bob will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are welcome from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, in St. Benedict the Abbot Church, 120 Abington Drive, McMurray, PA 15317. Burial will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township.
