West Sides Youth is sponsoring a toy drive to provide gently-used and new toys at a reasonable price to families who are struggling to purchase gifts for their children this year. The collection will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at West Sides Youth, 313 Jennings Ave., Waynesburg. To donate, call 724-852-4206.

Lemoyne Community Center presents Coco’s Christmas 2018 on Saturday, Dec. 8, featuring items from A to Z including adult and baby diapers. General admission is from 2 to 5 p.m. Senior citizens age 70 and up may call ahead to schedule an appointment between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to avoid standing in line outside. The event is free to all families, especially those having trouble making ends meet; no income guidelines. Cookies and hot chocolate will be available. Bring bags to carry your goodies. Shopping is open to adults only. There will be an activity area for youth. A free meal and gift wrapping will be offered. The Lemoyne Center is located at 200 N. Forest Avenue, Washington.
