David J. Devecka
David J. Devecka, 68, of Julian, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018, in his home.
He was born April 1, 1950, in Brownsville, a son of the late John M. and Susan Bendis Devecka.
Mr. Devecka attended Beth-Center High School and Penn State University.
He was employed as a chef in the Spats at the Grill restaurant in State College.
He was an avid football fan who enjoyed Penn State, Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates. He also enjoyed hunting.
David was Lutheran.
Surviving are a brother, Duane W. Devecka (Barbara Howard) of Fredericktown; nephew Jason Devecka (Angela); niece Michele Bogumit (David); four great-nephews, Cody Packrall and Skyler, Logan and Brayden Devecka; great-niece Taryn Devecka; and great-great-nephew, Calan Packrall.
He also leaves his faithful canine companion, Jack, an English setter.
