Grant Michael Chupinka, 26, of North Strabane, died Thursday, November 8, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was the cherished son of Stephen and Kim; beloved brother of Brett (Audri), Tyler (Steph) and Colin (Lexie Luba); dear grandson of Eileen (the late Ken) Flodine and the late Steve (Helen) Chupinka; nephew of Sandi (Jim) Babbie, Steph (the late Larry) Oleksa and Ken, Keith and Kurt Flodine; and cousins.

Grant was an avid Penguins and WWE fan. He was an assistant manager of Atria’s Restaurant. He had a wicked sense of humor. Grant showed people how to live life to the fullest, even when times were tough. Even a brief encounter with Grant had a lasting impact on everyone.

Dr. Ohr, Becky and the staff at Hillman, Miranda and the angels of Vitas took great care of Grant.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, 724-941-3211. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 12, in Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, McMurray. Entombment will be in Woodruff Memorial Park.
