Marianne Myers
Marianne Myers, 62, of Washington, died Sunday, November 4, 2018, in her home.
She was born November 12, 1955, in Augsburg, Germany, a daughter of Marianne Rast Myers of Meadow Lands and the late Cyrus Merle Myers.
Miss Myers was a graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School.
She was a member of The Meadows Track Chapel.
Miss Myers volunteered at Presbyterian SeniorCare, passing out flyers to the residents. She loved being on her computer, reading, writing poetry and spending time with family.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are a sister, Nancy McCracken (Rodney) of Washington; three brothers, David Myers (Lori) of Logan, Ohio, and Joseph Myers (Chris) and Charles Myers (Renae), both of Houston; a niece, Amanda Burgess (Patrick); six nephews, Tyler, Seth, Brandon, Christian, Lucan and Matthew Myers; a great-niece, Mia Burgess; three great-nephews, Korbin Dallas, Killian Myers and Heath Burgess; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, where serves will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, with Pastor Joe DiDonato officiating. Interment will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to The Meadows Track Chapel, 210 Racetrack Road, Washington, PA 15301. Checks may be made out to CHHA – The Meadows.
