Anthony J. Saludis
Dr. Anthony J. Saludis, 82, of Conway, died Saturday evening, November 17, 2018.
He was born April 17, 1936, in Sewickley, a son of the late John and Harriet Anderson Saludis.
Dr. Saludis was a professor emeritus of California State University and a former teacher and administrator at Baden Economy Junior High School, Ambridge School District.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, is his wife, Loretta Sichak Saludis, who died March 1.
He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jay Saludis of Sewickley and William and Lisa Saludis of Economy Borough; a grandson, Anthony Saludis; a granddaughter, Margaret Saludis of Conway; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Bessie and Edwin Maola of Hopewell Township, Maria and Henry Mickey of Sewickley and Athena Bober of North Hills; a nephew, Michael Bober of North Hills; and a niece, Vickie Tusick of Ambridge.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday in Bohn-Matich Funeral & Cremation Services Inc., 1099 Maplewood Avenue, Ambridge, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 26. Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester. The Beaver County Military Unit will meet in the cemetery at 11:45 a.m. to provide military honors.
