Hilda G. Burnett, 91, of Carmichaels, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018, in Cloverdale Personal Care Home, Masontown.
Mrs. Burnett was born June 27, 1927, in Carmichaels, a daughter of the late Thomas Garrison and Florence Jones Garrison Rodgers.
She was the beloved wife of the late Marion Burnett and the loving mother of Wanda Cutwright (Greg) of Nemacolin, Debra Milinovich (Tom) of Waynesburg, Bradley Burnett (Debbie) of Carmichaels and Brent Burnett (Mollie) of Waynesburg.
She was the proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
Hilda is also survived by two brothers, Paul Garrison (Chris) of Morgantown, W.Va., and Mark Garrison (Chrystal) of Waynesburg.
Hilda was a 1945 graduate of Cumberland Township High School. She lived her entire adult life in the Fairdale area of Carmichaels.
She was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed watching baseball, football and hockey. Hilda was an excellent checkers player.
The devoted and compassionate caregivers at Cloverdale Nursing Home and Amedysis Hospice brought comfort and joy to Hilda’s days.
