Tyler Bradley passed for three touchdowns and ran for another as third-seeded Our Lady of Scared Heart defeated Rochester 28-6 in the WPIAL Class A football championship game Saturday.

It was the first WPIAL championship for OLSH (12-1), who advance to the PIAA playoffs. Rochester’s season ends with an 11-2 record.

Bradley opened the scoring with a one-yard TD run, then threw scoring passes of 28, 15 and 33 yards. Bradley was 13 of 22 for 169 yards.

Rochester trailed 14-0 at halftime but pulled to within 14-6 on Noah Whiteleather’s six-yard touchdown run midway through the third quarter. Bradley sealed the win for OLSH with two fourth-quarter touchdown passes.

Rochester had one more first down than OLSH and rushed for 167 yards, including 107 by Darius Goosby, but the Rams committed three turnovers.

Aliquippa 42, Derry 19: Eli Kosanovich completed 18 of 33 passes for 327 yards and four touchdowns as Aliquippa rolled to a 42-19 victory over turnover-prone Derry in the WPIAL Class 3A championship game.

Three of Kosanovich’s scoring passes went to William Gipson and covered 15, 42 and 20 yards. Kosanovich also threw a 56-yard TD pass to M.J. Devonshire.

The Quips (12-1), who have made 11 consecutive appearances in the WPIAL finals, ended a two-game losing streak in title games. Aliquippa stacked quickly, forging a 22-0 lead by the end of the first quarter.

Derry’s Justin Flack rushed for 94 yards on 27 carries and scored on runs of three, one and one yards. Trojans threw five interceptions and lost a fumble.
